Textile Giants Compete For The $12 Billion Gulf Market In Arabia.

An important industrial observer said that the global textile and garment manufacturers are fighting for the growing Gulf of Arabia fashion market, eager to gain greater market share.


25 countries participated in the Motexha exhibition, the largest clothing and textile industry exhibition in the region. The exhibition will be held at the International Exhibition Center in Dubai, ending in April 2, 2008.


From the number of Motexha exhibitors, China is the first, and the largest number of other five exhibitors are Turkey, Indonesia, India, Italy and Bangladesh.

In 2007, Turkey's textile exports increased by 17%, and garment exports increased by 16%, and successfully landed in the Gulf market of Arabia.

Last year, Turkey exported 9 billion 500 million US dollars in textiles and 13 billion US dollars in garments.


The third largest group in the fair is Indonesia. In recent years, Indonesia's textile exports are about 70-80 billion dollars.


With the help of the garment export promotion committee, India is overcome the impact of the weakening US dollar and the rupee appreciation on textile exports.

India is the fourth largest exhibitor group at the Motexha exhibition. India is competing with China. India's clothing export target in 2010 is US $14 billion 500 million.


The fifth group of Motexha exhibitions is Italy and Italy attaches great importance to the quality image.

Italy fashion is very popular in Arabia Bay. Italy textile industry is one of the most successful industries in the world, earning more than 80 billion dollars.


The sixth largest group of Motexha fairs is Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a fast-growing emerging country in the global textile and apparel market.

Bangladesh clothing accounts for 80% of Bangladesh's total exports, and the export target of Bangladesh clothing exporters association to 2010 is US $18 billion.
