Qingdao'S Nine New Companies To Help Leather Shoes Export Enterprises To Tide Over Difficulties

In the face of the grim situation of foreign trade and the critical moment for export enterprises to face the challenges of survival, the city will introduce a series of measures to support the development of foreign trade in the city.

The reporter learned from the first meeting of the joint conference system on promoting foreign trade development held yesterday that the city intends to give special support to export enterprises from nine aspects, such as enterprise financing, loan discount and export tax rebate, so as to help enterprises reduce export costs and enhance competitiveness.

Export enterprises profit decline

This year, the development of export enterprises is difficult. Due to the superposition of multiple factors, the export enterprises of our city generally face greater difficulties in terms of exchange rate, interest rate, tax rebate rate, raw material price and labor cost "three rate and two price".

Sun Hengqin, director of the Municipal Bureau of foreign trade and economic cooperation, said that the difficulties faced by the export enterprises are mainly reflected in the decline in export efficiency, the expansion of corporate deficit, the shrinking demand in the international market, the increase in export credit risk, the further expansion of international trade barriers, and the more difficult exports are facing.

At the same time, the financing cost of enterprises is raised, and the problem of financing difficulties of SMEs is more prominent, which further increases the difficulties of enterprises.

A few days ago, the Municipal Bureau of foreign trade and economic cooperation conducted an investigation and analysis of the three major export industries in the city. The export of four industries, including steel, leather, shoes and containers, declined, while the export of clothing, tires and agricultural products in three industries was lower than the average level of the whole city. The leather industry was the most affected. 223 enterprises have withdrawn this year and the export volume has been reduced by 41 million US dollars.

Foreign trade is an important force to boost Qingdao's economic growth.

According to statistics, there are 10 thousand enterprises with import and export performance in the city, and more than 900 thousand employees in the society. In recent years, the contribution of foreign trade to GDP in our city is over 25%.

In the current grim situation, our city will introduce a series of measures to support the development of foreign trade, first of all, the establishment of a joint conference system to promote foreign trade development.

"This is an important measure for our city to solve the prominent problems restricting the development of foreign trade and promote the sustained and stable development of foreign trade."

Vice mayor Wu Jingjian introduced the significance of this system.

Wu Jingjian also said that the city will further introduce special measures to support the development of foreign trade.

At present, our city has drafted some measures to support the rapid and sound development of foreign trade. It intends to give special support to export enterprises from nine aspects, namely, enterprise financing, loan discount, export tax rebate, international market development, export credit insurance, science and technology revitalizing trade, brand building, e-commerce application, improving enterprise innovation ability and expanding imports, so as to help enterprises reduce export costs and enhance competitiveness.

Sun Hengqin said that in the second half of this year, the city will also set up an innovation system of the city's foreign trade, which is mainly enterprise oriented and government driven, so as to speed up the pformation of the mode of trade growth, optimize the structure of foreign trade, and enhance the competitive edge and international competitiveness of export products.

"We will take measures to encourage the enterprises to pfer their production to some relatively low cost and relatively backward areas in our city, and give some policy support to the construction, employment, electricity and land of the enterprises after the relocation, so as to reduce the cost of operation and promote regional coordinated development."
