Zhanjiang's 1 Million 940 Thousand Pairs Of Shoes Go Abroad

Since the beginning of this year, the export of footwear in Zhanjiang has increased by a large margin. In the first half of this year, 1 million 940 thousand pairs of export and footwear products approved by the inspection and quarantine department were worth 1 million 399 thousand dollars, equivalent to the total export volume of last year, two times higher than that of the same period last year.

According to the Zhanjiang evening news, at present, the export shoes in Zhanjiang are mainly concentrated in two production enterprises: Wukawa Mika shoes Products Co., Ltd. and Wuchuan Yongtai shoe factory.

Meijia shoe factory mainly produces women's casual shoes, women's wear sandals, ladies' boots and so on. The shoe material is mainly made of PU artificial leather, PVC artificial leather, cloth and so on, and its products are sold to Europe and America.

The enterprise has obtained ISO quality system certification for Taiwan funded enterprises.

Yongtai shoe factory mainly produces plastic slippers, and its products are exported to Africa.

Inspection and Quarantine Department reminded: at present, the EU has promulgated the 200/122/EC directive to restrict the use and sale of perfluorooctane yellow acid, and footwear enterprises should strictly comply with the EU directive so as not to cause unnecessary economic losses.
