The event is hosted by the sports information center of the State Sports General Administration and is organized by the China sports competition group.

Approved by the State General Administration of sport in 2003, it became the ninety-ninth official sport in China and was revised to Seventy-eighth sports in 2006.

In 2007, E-sports was listed as one of the official events of the Asian Indoor Games by the Asian Olympic Council.

In order to further promote the popularization and popularization of E-sports in China, and select and reserve high-level electronic competitive sports talents, the Department of sports and sports, the State Sports General Administration Sports Information Center, plans to organize a series of sports events in 2010. With the holding of the 2010 national training team selection contest, the curtain will be drawn on the annual competition of China's E-sports.

"FIFA football", "best flying car", "Warcraft (personal)" and "Warcraft DOTA (Group)" are the four items for this competition.

The organizing committee will strictly enforce the rules of the competition and select a high level athlete who qualifies for this year's electronic competition national training team on the principle of fairness, openness and fairness.
