This year, our country

Leatherwear

The production scale of the industry ranks first in the world, and leather and its products earn the first 6 consecutive years of foreign exchange earning in light industry.

However, with the expansion of product quantity, more and more technical trade measures abroad have become an important factor affecting their exports.

Because of the greater concealment of technical trade measures under the name of safety and environmental protection, it has also become a commonly used means of trade protection in developed countries.

At present, China's export of leather products is facing new EU.

statute

Mainly include:

PFOS instructions.

In June 27, 2008, the European Union directive on the sale and use of perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS directive) came into effect.

It is requested that the content of perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) in the finished products sold in the EU market should not exceed 0.005% of the total quality.

Perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) has the characteristics of oil repellency and hydrophobicity. It was used to produce surface antifouling agents such as textiles, leather products, furniture and carpet.

The European Union officially banned the use of PFOS in commodities, and the export enterprises of China's textile and leather products were deeply affected.

DMF ban requirement.

In January 29, 2009, the EU Member States decided that in May 1, 2009, the EU Member States banned the sale or sale of consumer goods containing more than 0.1ppm of DMF (two methyl fumarate), and the products containing or containing DMF should be recycled, and the hazards of the above products could be informed in an appropriate way.

Previously,

France

Belgium and Spain issued the DMF ban in early 2009.

Chromate law.

Recently, the German Federal Ministry of food, agriculture and consumer protection issued a circular saying that because chromate is one of the most important allergens, the law stipulates that leather products that are in contact with human body are only allowed to be processed in the final product without chromate detection.

In the face of the increasing and increasingly stringent technical trade measures of the European Union, the inspection and quarantine department reminds exporters that it is imminent to fully enhance the international competitiveness of export leather products.

Enterprises should fully grasp the relevant requirements of the products exported to the European Union, improve the production technology and product quality, understand the implementation of the new EU regulations in a timely manner, grasp the latest progress requirements, and ensure that products meet the requirements of the international market.

MOFCOM: We Must Maintain The Continuity And Stability Of The Export Tax Rebate Policy.

Jiang Yaoping, Vice Minister of Commerce, said that China's foreign trade policy is stable in the second half of the year, but it is still possible to adjust the export tax rebates for some products with high energy consumption and high pollution. Experts believe that considering the start of mid July, the cancellation of export tax rebates for some products and the uncertainty of the current foreign trade situation are unlikely.
