Common Knowledge Of Fabric Texture And Material Identification
Clothing It is made of different materials, commonly known as " Fabric "Different.
1. Textile fiber Texture identification of clothing
Different fibers can be used individually to weave clothes or to mix into blended fabrics, such as cotton polyester, wool and polyester.
(1) identify basic methods: look, touch, burn and smell.
Look at it. Look is to see its logo, labels, look at its color, texture. The clothes produced by regular factories usually have special marks for their ingredients. As shown in Figure 3-1,
(2) touch. Touch is to touch the texture, thickness and so on.
Third, burn. Burning is to judge the composition of the fabric by burning the material on the clothes of different fiber materials to see its shape and so on.
(4) smell. To smell is to distinguish its material by smelling its taste.
(2) identification of pure spinning garments. Apart from checking cards and labels, they can be judged by looking and touching.
(1) cotton fiber clothing. Cotton clothing is soft, thick, soft and poor in elasticity.
2. The difference between linen clothing and cotton fiber clothing is rough, hard and wrinkled.
3. Woolen clothing is soft and bright, with clear, bright, broad, smooth, elastic and heavy weight. It can recover itself after wrinkling.
(4) silk products are luster soft and uniform, and their hands feel spiny, soft, smooth and heavy.
Chemical fiber clothing is bright and shiny and light, but spandex and other fabrics have good elasticity.
Pure spinning clothing can also be judged by burning. A small piece of thread is drawn from the clothes of different fiber materials, and the ashes of the plant fibers are powdered and have no peculiar smell. The animal fibers, especially wool and rabbit hair products, can smell the animals after burning, the ashes are condensed together and broken by hand, and the chemical fibers burn off with a faint odor, and the ashes are hard to harden and not easy to twist.
(3) identification of blended fabrics. In addition to identifying signs and labels, the identification of blended fabrics can also be judged by comparing with pure textiles.
Cotton: compared with pure cotton fabric, cotton and polyester clothes are brightly colored and not easy to wrinkle or deform, but the handle is not as soft as pure cotton products.
2. Wool and polyester: compared with pure wool products, wool and polyester products are hard to handle in hand, but not smooth and elastic in pure wool fabrics.
Chemical fiber: the color and color of chemical fiber and silk are not as good as those of silk products, and their wrinkles are obvious, their elasticity is poor, and their prices are cheap.
2. Texture identification of leather products
(1) visual identification: the surface of natural leather can be seen in patterns, pores, and uneven distribution. There are animal fibers on the reverse side. The lateral section can be clearly discernible. There are animal fibers on the lower level. With the fingernail scraping test, leather fibers will be erected, there is a sense of raising and a small amount of fibers can also fall off. Synthetic leather can be seen on the reverse side, with no animal fibers on the side, and no pores in the general epidermis. Some have imitation leather artificial pores, there will be some obvious pores, some patterns are not obvious, or there are regular artificial patterns, pores are quite consistent.
(2) hand identification method: the leather feels elastic, and the leather will be bent downward about 90 degrees or so. Natural wrinkles will appear. They will bend different parts. The wrinkles and thickness of the leather will be uneven. The synthetic leather feels like plastic, and the recovery is poor. The wrinkles and wrinkles are similar.
(3) odor identification: natural leather has a very strong fur taste. Even after treatment, the taste is obvious, while the artificial leather product has the smell of plastic.
(4) combustion identification method: natural leather will burn out a burning smell of hair, burning ashes are generally fragile into powder; artificial leather is also more vigorous after burning, rapidly shrinking, and has a very smelly smell of plastic, which is sticky after burning, and will harden into lump after cooling.
(5) in addition to the cheaper price than the genuine leather, the wash garment is a prominent advantage.
