(IFM) the latest research results in the first quarter of this year, France

Market share reached 8.6%, the first time it exceeded large department stores.

Last year from July to July this year, online sales of clothing grew by more than 30%, compared with the same period in the apparel industry.

Overall sales volume

Down 1.4%.

Online shoppers are mainly women aged 25-34, who spend less time in their spare time and control their family buying rights. Male consumers are mostly 35-44 years old, because online shopping saves time, practicality and convenience.

The price advantage of online shopping is obvious, female clothing is 11% cheaper than the market, and men and children's clothing is 7% to 3.5% cheaper.

Professional online stores occupy 50% of the market share, and traditional retailers are also involved.


FEVAD estimates that sales of 7 online stores in the first half of this year amounted to 14 billion 500 million euros, up 29% over the same period last year.
