According to the briefing, this is the first municipal trade association set up outside the central city of our city, which is of great significance for promoting the development of shoe-making enterprises from decentralization to concentration and following the development strategy of "one to one garden" in the footwear industry of Chongzhou.
It is understood that at present, there are more than 3000 shoemaking enterprises in our city. The annual sales volume exceeds about 15000000000 yuan, and the industrial layout is relatively dispersed. Further development is faced with many difficulties, such as the international financial crisis and anti-dumping measures in some countries. It has a great impact on the regional industry characterized by the open economy and the OEM as the main mode of production.
To further guide the development of footwear industry in Chongzhou to the high end, enhance the visibility of the industry, and promote the intensive development of shoemaking industrial clusters, the Chengdu footwear industry promotion association was formally established.
The association is committed to providing coordinated management and regional brand integration services for the park enterprises, vigorously developing Chongzhou shoemaking production base, and on the basis of interaction with Wuhou shoes, and with Wuhou District's urban pformation and demolition, to attract Chengdu shoe making enterprises to move towards Chongzhou strategy.
In response to the establishment of the association, the exhibition center of Chinese women's shoes capital, located in Longteng shoe material city, was officially opened yesterday.
The exhibition center has an area of about 2000 square meters and consists of three main themes, namely, the exhibition area of exquisite shoes, the display area of shoes culture, and the display area of footwear industry in Chongzhou.
The exhibition center is divided into three floors, the first floor is 1000 square meters boutique shoes exhibition area, the two floor is 800 square meters business negotiation area, the third floor is mainly used for the Chengdu footwear industry promotion association office.
At this point, an important footwear industry platform, which integrates shoe material supply, external display, finished product sales and information exchange, has taken shape in the shoe industry park of Chongzhou.
According to the industrial planning of Chengdu, the shoemaking enterprises in Chengdu Wuhou District, together with shoe material merchants and supporting industries, will be relocated in batches in 2 to 3 years to the new shoe production base, Chongzhou Industrial Development Zone shoe making park.
The relocation of Wuhou District shoe industry to Chongzhou is a strategy to promote urban and rural co-ordination, develop traditional dominant industries and create high-end footwear industry in Chengdu.
Chongzhou industrial concentrated development area also has one of the 3 National Quality Supervision and testing centers of footwear products in the country. It will become the largest production base of shoe making industry in the west, and the industrial potential is very considerable.
By 2013, the region will form a cluster development zone with an industrial scale of more than ten billion yuan.
