"Gui bu" refers to the cotton cloth produced in the GUI Ying area of the Tang Dynasty (now Guangxi south of the Five Ridges area).

Kapok was found only in the middle and northern part of China in the northern and Southern Dynasties. It was divided into two categories, one was woody, named Gu Bei, Ji Bei, or Robin. It was introduced from the South China Sea and began to grow in Guangxi and other places. The other is the cotton which is now common and imported in Shanxi.

In the middle Tang Dynasty, these two kinds of cotton are rare products. They are very valuable.

Because cotton was first planted in hanging camp and other places, the cloth made of it was called cinnamon cloth.

"Wu Jin" refers to the silk floss produced by Wu county (now Suzhou, Jiangsu).

From the "white cloth like snow and soft brocade of broccoli", we can see that the cotton weaving in the Tang Dynasty has developed greatly in the south of the Five Ridges area of our country. Moreover, the fabric produced here is fine and fine in quality.
