Sino French Fashion Institute Of Fashion

In 2002, the French International Fashion Institute and Shanghai University of Engineering Science jointly established the first Sino French cooperative higher education institution approved by the Chinese government, the Sino French Fashion College of the Shanghai University of Engineering Science. After years of development, the college has gradually become a leader in fashion design colleges. Design

Drawing on the experience of domestic and foreign fashion masters and successful design cases, we can enhance students' aesthetic, taste and understanding abilities of various design styles. Starting from the design concept, we should inspire and train students to form their own design style. Closely related to market factors and trends, and learning the design concept of successful brands, lay a solid foundation for students to enter the field of design.

Stereoscopic cutting and plane trimming

Imparting the whole set of advanced technology in the fashion industry to students, so that students can master the knowledge of tailoring and learn how to deal with creative graphics with existing technology. Guide students to read all kinds of excellent books on cutting, start from the research of fabrics, teach them to make different parts of clothing with three-dimensional cutting, including necklines, sleeves, pockets, jackets, skirts and folds, shoulders, folds and dart.

Fashion Marketing

Explain the principles of the fashion market with a large number of data and cases. By analyzing the impact of customer demand and lifestyle on price, let students know how to promote sales through coordinating production, marketing, and advertising sales strategies. The course contents include promotion planning, market communication, retail market, fashion design principles, etc.

Rick system

Through demonstration and explanation, let students understand the software and hardware of Lectra system. Learn how to use the layout software, and master basic computer skills. According to the style of the design drawings, learn to use all kinds of shortcut keys and use various tools of the toolbar to complete the computer plate making.

Computer design

The course will be divided into two stages of learning: the first stage, skilled use of Photoshop and Illustrator two design typesetting software; the second stage, on the basis of the first stage of learning, the two software will be perfectly combined to use these two software to achieve their design draft faster and more accurately. Integrating advanced IT technology into traditional fashion education will lay the foundation for students' career development.

European fashion history

Understand the fashion development process and the evolution of various fashion details. Combined with multimedia teaching mode, we can understand the historical background of the development stages of fashion history in a vivid and intuitive way, as well as historical events that are of great significance to the development of fashion history.

Fashion sewing technology

From the beginning to the end, from the ironing cloth, the introduction of sewing machine construction and the practice of basic French sewing, it has been until independent sewing machines to make classic garments such as skirts, trousers, dresses and trousers.

Fabric recognition and fabric design

The texture of textiles determines the final effect of garments. Design direction

We should enhance students' creativity and grasp the knowledge of fashion design. Through the meeting with fashion experts, visiting Brand Company and lectures, we will have a comprehensive understanding of the first hand message of the fashion industry, so that students can finish the design work in accordance with the requirements in the shortest possible time, laying the foundation for their future entry into Brand Company. At the end of the semester, students need to produce a series of fashion designs to promote the design of graduation fashion works and produce a new set of concepts.

Plate making process direction

Training students in three-dimensional cutting skills, in-depth study of fabric and its production effect, so that they can make their own creativity with the most impeccable process. The teaching contents include tailoring and sewing, fabric research, and various types of vertical cutting. At the end of the third academic year, students will master the knowledge of tailoring and the processing methods of all kinds of folds, shoulders and dart. They should be proficient in stereotactic cutting, familiar with the properties of various fabrics (including knitted, elastic cloth, etc.), and be able to independently complete the production of complete garments.

Marketing direction

On the basis of basic knowledge of marketing in the second academic year, students have a better understanding of fashion marketing, including marketing planning, market communication, domestic retail, fashion design principles, retail management and so on. Through learning, students will learn how to improve sales through coordinating production, marketing, and using some advertising and Exhibition strategies; understand the environment and customer needs of the fashion market; grasp the ability to analyze specific cases and formulate effective sales mix strategies; begin to study the influence factors of prices and product trends from a deep understanding of customer lifestyles.
