The Number Of Imported Cotton Products In Turkmenistan Has Increased.
The factory produced 3137 tons of yarn in January 2011 to August, compared with the same period in 2010.
The Halach plant is the largest comprehensive textile mill in southern rib. It was built in 2005. The factory employs 160 people, mostly residents in nearby villages.
In 2011, the national cotton planting area was about 550000 hectares. Cotton harvest is about 1 million 300 thousand tons, compared to 2010.
