Reporters interviewed found that clothing prices, such as clothing, shoes, bags and so on, have generally risen. Even 5 pairs of cotton socks have changed to 7 yuan, up 30% more than last year.

A clothing brand salesperson told reporters, "compared with last year, the price of clothing tag has risen by 100~500 yuan."

The salesman picked up a short jacket with seven points sleeves and the tag price was 599 yuan. "Last year, almost the same thin coat like this was priced at more than 400 yuan, and this year is close to 600 yuan."


In the same clothing counter, the reporter saw that in the clothes that just appeared on the market, the price of the early autumn clothing was more than 400 yuan to 600 yuan, while the slightly heavier coat and windbreaker were mostly between 800 yuan and 1000 yuan.

Ms. Yang chose a khaki cloth windbreaker, and she told reporters, "I bought almost a windbreaker last year. The price was 799 yuan, and it was more than 600 yuan after the discount. Today it costs 1089 yuan, and only 10 percent off."

Ms. Yang looked at the price and thought it was too expensive. "Anyway, I still have one. It's not a special need. I'll wear it or not. I'll talk about it 50 percent off or 40 percent off."

Ms. Yang said the price exceeded her budget and would not be bought without a low discount.

Prices rise, clothing prices are high.


A clothing brand agent Shen told reporters that this year's clothing purchase price is higher than 20% to 40%, generally speaking, the price of their own low clothing prices rose slightly, and their own price higher clothing 40% of the normal situation.

"Or because of the rising cost of manufacturers, the price of our retailers will increase and the price of clothing will be raised accordingly."

According to Ms. Shen, the price of the previous purchase is about 1:2 compared with the price of the tag, and now the individual brands can reach 1:2.5 or even 1:3.

"The profit of the manufacturer and the price to the agent is certain, the price of the tag is higher than before, so the profit margin in the middle is bigger, but now the price is generally rising, there is no way."


Reporters learned that clothing prices are mainly due to the general price increases this year, manufacturers in raw materials, processing and other costs led to the rise.

And the situation mentioned by Ms Shen is equal to the difference between the price of the imported goods and the price of the tag, which is also due to the rising prices. The agents at all levels are constantly increasing in rent, freight and labor costs. In order to balance the market, ensure the agents and their profits, the manufacturers only pfer the "price" pressure to the consumers.

"There is no way out. We also hope that the price will be lower and we can sell more."
