Present situation

Achievement and weakness coexist

Henan's textile and apparel industry has achieved remarkable results.

Many owners of the clothing circle said that this is also the reason why Henan's top 100 Chinese clothing list has been selected for 12 enterprises in one fell swoop.

According to the "Henan city development report" released by the Henan Academy of Social Sciences in 2010, textile and garment industries accounted for 90% of the 18 provincial cities in Henan.

At present, the textile and garment industries of various provinces and municipalities in Henan have developed their own distinctive development paths. For example, Nanyang has formed a textile industry base characterized by clothing and home textiles, mainly with cotton spinning. Xinxiang has become an important production base for chemical fiber and textiles. Kaifeng is building a cotton textile industrial cluster dominated by high quality knitting yarns.

Among them, there are more than 2000 garment manufacturing enterprises in Zhengzhou, more than 520 of which have begun to take shape, and more than 500 of the city's clothing brands have their own brands, with annual sales revenue exceeding 10 billion yuan and export earning 52 million 500 thousand US dollars.

Prior to 2009, the Henan provincial government issued the "Henan textile industry adjustment and revitalization plan" document, according to documents, by 2012, the province's textile industry realized sales revenue of 300 billion yuan, and by 2015, the textile industry achieved 600 billion yuan in sales revenue, 2020, the scale of the province's sales revenue doubled on 2015 basis.

The document also indicated that 4 comprehensive textile and garment industrial bases and 5 industrial cluster areas will be built.

Among them, Zhengzhou, Xinxiang, Nanyang and Zhoukou become the comprehensive textile and garment industrial bases for the future construction of Henan. Xuchang, Kaifeng, Anyang, Shangqiu and Pingdingshan become industrial clusters.

"Raising the scale and level of clothing, fabrics, home textiles and supporting the development of the brand clothing industry" is a clear guide. How can we improve it? I think there will be a lot of concrete actions next.

Li Gang said that the issuance of guiding opinions will accelerate the formation of this plan as soon as possible.

For example, in the construction of industrial bases and industrial clusters, a series of preferential measures may be issued in every province of Henan.
