2011 textile recycling economy in China

2011 China textile recycling economy and sustainable development forum was held in November 2nd in China (Xiqiao) fashion fabrics fair.

With the theme of developing circular economy and changing the mode of growth, the forum has invited more than 200 representatives from various textile industrial clusters and representatives from all excellent textile enterprises across the country.

To explore the effectiveness of developing circular economy in three aspects: textile and garment enterprises, enterprises or parks and society.

Liang Quancai, mayor of Xiqiao Town, Sun Ruizhe, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, and Yuan Daoling, deputy director of Southern China environmental protection inspection center of the Ministry of environmental protection, attended the meeting and delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

Zheng Hong, deputy director of the SME Promotion Center of the Ministry of industry and commerce, Fu Guangwei, deputy director of the China Textile Information Center, Zhu Beina, chairman of the cotton textile industry association, deputy secretary general Wang Keli, Jordanian counsellor, Mr. AI LAN LAN and other leaders and guests were invited to attend the meeting.

Qiao Qi, director and chief expert of the production and recycling economy Department of the Chinese Academy of Environmental Sciences, entitled "the current situation and characteristics of China's circular economy", introduced the overall situation of the circular economy in China and the direction of its future development.

Zhang Shiping, deputy director of the Ministry of industry of the China Federation of textile industry, based on the outline of the sustainable development of the textile industry in 12th Five-Year, introduced to the delegates the achievements and problems of China's textile industry in the circular economy and sustainable development during 11th Five-Year, and put forward the key tasks and projects of 12th Five-Year and the next ten years, which is of guiding significance for the development of circular economy and sustainable development of the entire textile industry in the future.

Ceng Qingfu, Vice Chancellor of Wuhan Textile University, has shared many new technologies of dyeing and energy saving and emission reduction with the practice of dyeing and printing for many years. Taking ramie cleaner production as an example, the significance of ramie ecological industry for the development of circular economy in the whole industry is introduced.

Huang Huaiguang, chairman of Jiedong Paris Wan Zhu yarn textile Co., Ltd. introduced the development and practice of environmental protection products based on the concept of circular economy and healthy consumption from the perspective of enterprises.

Finally, the General Assembly invited Qiao Qi, director and chief expert of the production and recycling economy Department of the Chinese Academy of Environmental Sciences, Ceng Qingfu, vice president of Wuhan Textile University, Guan Haiquan, vice mayor of Xiqiao Town, and Qin Xiaoyun, manager Qin Xiaoyun of knitwear printing Co., Ltd., for the theme of "three cycle forces".

This paper discusses how to play the role of small cycle (clean production within enterprises and recycling of resources), the role of medium cycle (ECO cycle system between enterprises in industrial parks) and the big cycle (resource recycling system of the whole society).

At present, the pformation from scale growth to quality benefit growth has become the development theme of China's textile industry.

Matching the growth of consumption with the carrying capacity of resources and environment, and achieving a new dynamic balance between supply and demand will become a major issue for the textile industry in the future.

The convening of this forum is of practical significance and impetus for textile enterprises to strengthen the awareness of circular economy, increase the technological innovation of circular economy, and plan the industrial parks.
