Vietnam'S Textile And Apparel Exports Increased Sharply This Year

According to Vinatex, Vietnam's textile and apparel exports amounted to US $11 billion 700 million in the first 10 months of 2011, accounting for 17% of the total export volume of Vietnam in that period.

Vietnam will reach the planned target of $13 billion 500 million export per year in cost.


Vietnam's textile and garment exports made a satisfactory pcript this year.

This is mainly due to the good textile market information forecasts made by Vietnamese textile manufacturers, their efforts to consolidate foreign markets and enter new markets.


As of the end of October this year, Viet Nam was right.

European Union

The amount of textiles exported by the United States and Japan increased by 41%, 14% and 52% respectively over the same period last year.


In the first 10 months of this year, Vietnam has opened up new markets to South Korea, Taiwan and Canada.

Product exports also made good pcripts, including $753 million for South Korea, a 128% increase over the same period last year.


The Vietnam garment and Textile Association predicts that it will export 15 billion US dollars of textiles next year, an increase of 10%~12% compared to this year. The EU, the United States and Japan are still important markets for Vietnam's textile exports and will account for the total export of textiles.
