Build A Healthy And Stable Supply Chain For Textile And Apparel

The general assembly (hereinafter referred to as the Supply Chain Conference) was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang.

It is understood that the supply chain conference has been held for five consecutive sessions since it was held in 2008.

The conference is co sponsored by the China Textile Industry Federation and the Ningbo Municipal People's government. China Textile Information Center, Ningbo people's Government exhibition office and Ningbo economic and Information Committee jointly undertake the joint operation of the China Apparel Association and Xiqiao Textile City Management Committee.

Wang Tiankai, President of China Federation of textile industry, Sun Ruizhe, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, Liu Haiquan, vice mayor of Ningbo Municipal Committee, vice chairman Fu Guangwei, chairman of China Textile Information Center, chairman of Italy Prado chamber of Commerce, Italy textile expert Alessandro Benelli, and local government leaders, and other people inside and outside the industry attended the conference.

"Brand business mode and supply chain"

As the core topic, this paper focuses on the two stages of Chinese textile and garment enterprises, which are driven by production factors and investment driven, and how to rely on the design of business models to rethink and judge the "business direction" of enterprises, rebuild the supply chain structure of enterprises, balance the supply chain relationship, and maximize the value of the supply chain synergy.

It is also revealed that the 2013 global textile and apparel supply chain conference will be held in Humen, Guangdong.

At the meeting, Sun Ruizhe, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation, gave a keynote speech.

Sun Ruizhe used a unique perspective to decompose the 5 letters of CHINA (China) from the perspective of textile and clothing industry, and gave a fresh and in-depth interpretation.

Sun Ruizhe pointed out that C stands for Changes, means change; H represents Hope, which means new hope; I represents Innovation, which means innovation drive; N represents Nature, which means environmental friendliness; A represents Anticipation, which means new expectations.

Sun Ruizhe believes that the above 5 letters can be used to interpret the industry in five aspects, which can comprehensively reflect the environment, status and future development of the industry.

Sun Ruizhe stressed that the textile and garment industry is a highly market-oriented industry, and more needs to pform its growth mode and enhance its own innovative ability to seek growth.

In order to solve the problems in the supply chain management innovation mode, we must adhere to the four aspects of quality, innovation, rapid response and social responsibility, so as to create a healthy and stable supply chain for textile and apparel.

As one of the organizers of the conference, Liu Haiquan, vice mayor of Ningbo Municipal Committee, said that textile and clothing are Ningbo's traditional characteristics and advantageous industries.

Over the past 30 years since the reform and opening up, Ningbo's textile and garment industry has achieved leaping development, forming nearly one thousand enterprises of above scale, with an annual output value of over about 130000000000. It has nurtured a number of well-known backbone enterprises in the industry, such as YOUNGOR, Shanshan and Luo Meng, and has become one of the largest textile and garment gathering areas in China.

The textile and garment enterprises in Ningbo have begun active exploration for the competition of industrial chain system around product production, design, research and development, sales, logistics and distribution, information management and channel construction, so as to enhance the capacity of Ningbo's textile and garment industry.
