China'S Clothing Exports Increased By 955 Billion 870 Million Yuan In October By 5.5% Yuan

The General Administration of Customs of China released the import and export situation of the mainland in the first 10 months.

In the first 10 months of 2014, the total value of imports and exports was 21 trillion and 700 billion yuan (RMB), which was 2.5% higher than that in the same period in 2013.

Among them, 11 trillion and 700 billion yuan was exported, 4.4% grew, 10 trillion yuan was imported, 0.3% grew, and the trade surplus was 1 trillion and 700 billion yuan, expanding 36.6%.

In October, the total value of imports and exports was 2 trillion and 270 billion yuan, growing by 8.4%.

Among them, 1 trillion and 270 billion yuan was exported, 11.5% grew, 1 trillion yuan was imported, 4.6% grew, and the trade surplus was 278 billion 700 million yuan, expanding 45.2%.

In the first 10 months, the export of mechanical and electrical products was 6 trillion and 490 billion yuan, growing 1.4%, accounting for 55.5% of the total export value.

Among them, electrical and electronic products exports 2 trillion and 800 billion yuan, down 1.7%; machinery and equipment 2 trillion yuan, grow 3.5%.

Clothing exports 955 billion 870 million yuan, grow 5.5%; textiles 570 billion 280 million yuan, grow 4.5%;

Footwear 288 billion 330 million yuan, grow 12.3%; furniture 255 billion 450 million yuan, down 1.4%;

Plastic products 186 billion 360 million yuan, grow 5.8%;

Luggage 137 billion 130 million yuan, down 2.5%;

Toys 73 billion 140 million yuan, grow 12%;

The above 7 types of labor-intensive products totaled 2 trillion and 470 billion yuan in exports, growing 5%, accounting for 21.1% of total exports.

USDA11 months

In November 10th, USDA released the forecast of global cotton production and marketing in November.

The United States: the US cotton production increased by 30 thousand tons this year, mainly due to the high yield in the southwest and Southeast China.

Cotton consumption and exports remained unchanged, so the final inventory increased to 1 million 110 thousand tons.

Global: the world's output forecast has increased by 52 thousand tons this year, and the output increase has been cut down in West Africa, Burma and the United States, China, Australia and Uzbekistan.

The supply and demand data of Burma in 2000/01 were revised.

Global consumption increased slightly by 37 thousand tons, mainly due to a large increase in consumption in Burma, while China's consumption fell by 109 thousand tons.
