In 2014, the Russian international household and indoor textiles exhibition was held on September 24-26 at the kurx Exhibition Center in Moscow. The total area of the exhibition was 19520 square meters. The exhibitors had 319 exhibitors from 23 countries, and attracted 15873 professional spectators for three days.

The exhibition brings together high level home textile manufacturers from Austria, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Korea, Holland, Saudi Arabia, Spain and other major industry practitioners.

Enterprises from 6 countries, including China, Germany, Pakistan, Portugal, Taiwan and Turkey, have made appearances in the form of national exhibition groups, highlighting the distinctive characteristics of the Russian home textile exhibition as an international industry gathering.

The products mainly include bedroom textiles (quilts, pillows, pieces and so on), bathroom textiles (towels, bath towels, bathrobes), table textiles (tablecloths, tablecloths), window fabrics, furniture fabrics and leather.

In the current cold market of the European and American home textiles market, some emerging markets have sprung up, especially in the Russian home textile market. In 2014, China became the largest importer of Russian home textiles, and China's home textile products exported to Russia amounted to US $1 billion 360 million, an increase of 10.27% over the same period in 2013.

Department stores and wholesale markets in major cities in Russia have specialized household textile counters or stores that specialize in all kinds of household textiles, especially interior decoration textiles. The products range from thick, thin window curtain sand, wall cloth, tablecloth, bedding to carpet blanket.

Since Russia joined the World Trade Organization in 2012, the Russian home textile exhibition has become the main way for textile professionals to explore the Russian market and enter the Eastern European market.

Turkey, China's most competitive competitor in the world, has taken the lead in using this platform to enter the Russian market. China's home textile enterprises are unwilling to lag behind.

Most of the companies participating in the Russian home textile exhibition are Shaoxing and Tongxiang's curtain cloth, and some of Nantong's bedding enterprises. They combine their advantages to prepare the latest products of the season.
