For the "manufacturing made in China" in the critical period of pformation and upgrading, cross-border e-commerce opens a door to a broader market.

It is precisely to see the strong role of cross-border e-commerce in promoting the economy. Yesterday, the Executive Council of the State Council made further arrangements to promote the healthy and rapid development of cross-border e-commerce.

Networking + foreign trade

It will undoubtedly help expand consumption, promote the development of an open economy, and create new economic growth points.

Specifically, the Executive Council will clearly optimize the customs clearance process, simplify the classification of cross-border e-commerce export commodities, implement the management of business entities and goods, and make centralized declaration, inspection, release and 24 hour collection for import and export commodities.

At the same time, it also proposed to implement the policy of refund and exemption for cross-border e-commerce retail export goods, and encourage cross-border electronic payment, promote cross-border foreign exchange payment pilot, and support domestic bank card clearing agencies to expand overseas business.

On the other hand, the State Council emphasized the development of cross-border e-commerce, and stressed the need to encourage foreign trade comprehensive service enterprises to provide customs clearance, warehousing, and cross-border e-commerce.

For such services, cross border e-commerce retail outlets can expand marketing channels by building overseas warehouses and experiential shops, cultivate private brands and self built platforms, and reasonably increase imports of consumer goods.

According to the monitoring data of China Electronic Commerce Research Center, the scale of cross-border e-commerce pactions in China in 2014 was 4 trillion yuan, an increase of 30.6% over the same period last year.

In 2013, the scale of cross-border e-commerce in China was 3 trillion and 100 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 31.3%, accounting for 11.9% of the total volume of import and export trade.

Industry analysts believe that with the introduction of the national cross-border electricity supplier favorable policies, the active promotion of industry participants and the gradual improvement of the industry chain, it is expected that the cross-border electricity supplier will continue to maintain steady and rapid development in the next few years. In 2017, the cross-border electricity supplier accounts for about 20% of the total volume of import and export trade.

In the case of traditional trade growth of less than 10% per year, China

But it has maintained more than 30% growth over the years.

Shen Danyang, spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce, said: "cross border e-commerce is a new mode of foreign trade development, and it is also an effective way to expand overseas marketing channels and achieve the pformation and upgrading of foreign trade."

"Although the development of cross-border e-commerce has been developing rapidly in recent two years, it has also led to a lack of relevant policies and a short board in terms of convenience and so on.

At present, many problems of cross-border electricity providers are not technical level, but the industry rules are not enough, the state has seen this point, so the State Council stands for cross-border electricity providers, it is precisely through policies to regulate the development of the industry, and greatly enhance the facilitation of the industry.

Wang Yaxing, deputy director of the Trade Department of Renmin University of China, told the Beijing Commercial Daily reporter, "what is also worth noting is that the State Council has a good mind to combine trade and investment so that Chinese enterprises can better connect with global resources."

On the whole, cross-border e-commerce not only breaks through the barriers between countries, but also makes international trade go without borders. At the same time, for "made in China", it also widens the path to enter the international market, and provides a platform and opportunity for product innovation and brand creation.
