Yesterday, there were more than 40 houses in the District of Dun Kou.

Clothing workshop

Close.

What is the reason?

On the morning of that day, Jing Xinhua, the mayor of the District of Qiaokou District, and Fan Qifa, the head of discipline inspection team of the city's Safety Supervision Bureau, went to the Dun Kou District to make a customized street for inspection and rectification.

More than 40 small clothing factories on the street have been closed, and all stores have posted notices to ban illegal production, storage and operation in any building in the area.

Jing Xinhua said that the special training class has been set up in the Qikou District, which requires that the existing clothing production, storage and business operators in the buildings in the area will close by themselves before July 15th.

The hottest e-commerce market is coming from winter.

Over the past two years, the wind has invested heavily in providing e-commerce services for second-hand clothing trading services.

With tens of millions of dollars in injection, skeptics believe that many of these e-commerce sites get too high investment, and market adjustment will be inevitable.

At present, such an adjustment has arrived.

Many sources told Re/code that at least 3 venture capitalists were selling themselves to potential buyers in the field because of the difficulty in attracting users or completing new financing.

One of the companies is close to completing a small deal.

Twice had previously invested in Anderson Horowitz, which sells second-hand clothing from mainstream brands such as Zara, Nike and Gap.

According to sources, in recent days, the company was trying to contact potential buyers trying to sell because it failed to attract enough users.

Another Shop Hers in St. Monica, California, focuses on secondhand designer clothing.

The company has recently finalized the deal and sold it to a large start-up company, Tradesy.

Industry observers say that at least another venture capital firm is looking for buyers in the market.

These companies are trying to explore Amazon and eBay, which have not yet been concerned about or are not doing well in the niche market.

These websites aim at young career women.

Through these websites, female users can sell clothes that are not stored in the wardrobe to get income, and constantly update their wardrobe.

However, in the second hand

clothing

In the online trading market, eBay still occupies most of the share.

New companies compete fiercely for users and investors. For example, a company called RealReal has invested more than 80 million dollars.

Although Twice has successfully raised $23 million, its direct competitor TredUp has raised over $50 million and is still trying to further finance.

Through this fund, TredUp has built second warehouses on the east coast of the United States, thereby reducing the time to ship to buyers.

Other companies in the field also include $40 million of Poshmark and $21 million of ThreadFlip financing.

The industry believes that only 1 to 2 second-hand clothing business platform will eventually expand, while others will fail.

Earlier last year, Twice completed a round of $18 million 500 thousand financing from Anderson Horowitz.

The company also recruited NBA Andre (Andre Iguodala) as fashion director for men.

But these measures are far from enough.

It is unclear whether the company has found a buyer or a large company willing to recruit the company's team.

The industry believes that cooperation with Anderson Horowitz will help the company achieve a "soft landing".

In the clothing market, Shop Hers is also facing the pressure of larger and more abundant rivals.

Although it has raised $3 million 500 thousand since its inception in 2012, its competitor Tradesy has to raise more than $44 million.

In fact, Tradesy also had a reviving experience in 2013.

According to sources, if Shop Hers is sold, the paction may not include cash.

Shop Hers has attracted the attention of some e-commerce consumers, but it is unable to complete a new round of financing at present.

Shop Hers CEO Jacqueline Shanfield (Jaclyn Shanfeld) did not comment on the report, while Twice CEO Noah Lai di Campbell (Noah Ready-Campbell) and Tradesy CEO Tracey di Nochi (Ref.) declined to comment.
