Q: if she designs a pair of sneakers for a lady, who will she be? What are these shoes like?

　 A: when I design, I always look for a Mousika. If I design a woman's shoes, I need to set up a specific lady for myself and then design it. This is always a simplification. Design The clever way of doing this is to design shoes for Michael Jordan, which is simpler than designing basketball shoes for thousands of basketball players. So I will try to understand this woman, what she is like, what she likes to wear, what she is doing and where she wants to go, then summarizes a set of criteria, and then finds some attractive points to make articles.

Q: now that we have realized the desire to design motorcycles, is there any design that we have never tried before and now want to try?

　 A: I haven't designed many things. I think Creative music 。 This is also a form of design, a process of creation. In fact, it is difficult for us to draw a clear line between different types of creation, just like literary creation and what you are doing now. For me, these are all thinking the same way. So I want to try to create some music. I really want to be a surfer, a motorcycle rider and a musician.

Q: so, are you a very adventurous person?

A: ha, I will say that I am reckless. I like adventure, but I always go overboard.

Q: I heard that you recently had a new project to design the Hayward stadium at University of Oregon. I know you used to be an architect. What's the difference between going back to the architecture field? What does a building designer and a shoe designer learn from each other?

A: actually, I never stopped building design. I have designed many houses, holiday homes, and sometimes designed for my own home. And I am also actively engaged in designing various other projects. It looks as if I have just returned to the field of architectural design. This is probably a series of public publicity made by Hayward stadium. After all, this is a very important place, and also a big project. But I have never left the field of architecture.

So for me, there is no big change of identity, I have not changed, and have always been engaged in architectural design and sneakers design. I also design furniture, and now I am designing motorcycles. I think it is a good thing for designers to extend their fields wider.

Q: you used to say in the interview that you want to design the motorcycle, and now you really do it.

A: ha ha, yes. I like riding a motorcycle very much, one of the reasons is that Michael Jordan used to joke about me. In the past, when I was riding a scooter, he said, "like a little girl, you should be tougher!" so I went to buy a motor cycle, and now I have four or five cars in my family. As a result, he did not ride now. It's time for me to laugh at him.
