In from March 28th to 30th, President Xi Jinping visited Czech to make this dream land which often appears in lyrics and movies, attracting the global attention again with the role of China EU cooperation fulcrum.

Turning on the map, Czech is like a cross lock, linked to Germany and other Western European developed countries, while the other is a vast expanse of fertile land in the "one belt and one road" layout, central and Eastern Europe.

In recent years, China and

Central and Eastern Europe

Cooperation has gradually grown from small to large and increasingly rich in content.

At the end of 2015, leaders of China, central and Eastern Europe gathered in Suzhou, China, and issued the "China Central and Eastern European countries".

cooperation

The medium-term plan describes the blueprint for cooperative development in the next 5 years, and releases the outline of Suzhou cooperation between China and the central and Eastern European countries, which provides a roadmap for advancing specific cooperation in the near future.

What is even more promising is that in June this year, the Ministerial Conference on cooperation and Trade Promotion between China and the central and Eastern European countries, and the investment trade fair between China and the central and Eastern European countries will once again take hold of Ningbo. Zhejiang's cooperation with central and Eastern European countries is turning a new leaf.

Central and Eastern Europe mainly includes 16 countries, including Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and Romania, accounting for 1/4 of the countries along the belt.

Zhang Handong analysis, as an important part of the global emerging market, the central and Eastern European countries not only have rich resources of forests and minerals, but also have great potential for economic development, distinctive industrial characteristics and strong economic complementarity with Zhejiang.

"Central and Eastern European countries are relatively underdeveloped in the whole EU.

Zhejiang

The level of economic development is more similar.

Moreover, the central and Eastern European countries are more developed in heavy industries and relatively weak in light industrial products, which is just the advantage of Zhejiang, and the two sides are highly complementary. "

Zhang Handong said.

Take Czech as an example, it has the traditional advantages industries such as machinery manufacturing, steel and chemical industry. Among them, mechanical manufacturing, especially CNC machine tools, has the world's leading technology, which can be "used for my own".

Advanced equipment and technology from central and Eastern European countries are becoming "good helpers" in Zhejiang's industrial pformation and upgrading.

An evidence that can be corroborated is that in 2015, with the total import volume of the whole province decreasing by 12.5%, our province's imports to Czech increased by nearly 3%, among which the most import products were high-tech products, metal machine tools, and so on, and the use of "Czech made" to boost Zhejiang's industrial upgrading.

Yu Haidong, director of the Secretariat of the central and Eastern Europe Expo Organizing Committee, told reporters that in June this year, the central and Eastern Europe Expo will hold the first China EU dialogue on quality inspection cooperation between central and Eastern Europe. Through mutual promotion and communication in the dialogue, it will promote more goods across the country and achieve two-way trade.

At the same time, China will also hold the exhibition of high-tech cooperation between China and the central and Eastern European countries.

"Last year, our cooperation exhibition was limited to consumer goods. This year, we hope to introduce 16 high-tech products from our country to launch our high quality products."

Yu Haidong said.

Products in central and Eastern Europe have also found a wide market in Zhejiang.

"We opened last June, and now we have 1 million yuan in sales a month. The milk and cereals in the museum are most popular among consumers."

In the Ningbo import commodity center, Chen Rong, director of the Poland Pavilion, told reporters that the market reaction of the products was good.

Chen Rong's Ningbo import commodity center has set up Czech Pavilion, Poland Pavilion, Bulgarian Pavilion, Slovakia Pavilion and other central and Eastern European importing commodity National Pavilion.
