Recently, the reporter went into the eight petals lotus intangible cultural heritage experience center of Huangzhong County, Xining, Qinghai Province, and saw Qiao Yingju, the national intangible cultural heritage successor of Huangzhong embroidery.

In the middle of the spacious exhibition hall, Qiao Ying Ju, 58 years old, opened a long red cloth. "This is the story of Princess Wencheng's entry into Tibet," which is divided into three parts, namely, Ying Ying, Wen Cheng Princess and Song Xan Gan Bbu, and I have completed three months with my apprentice.

On the blue scroll that was several meters long, a colorful and vivid three-dimensional picture appeared. The Princess Wencheng, who was dressed in scarlet brocade, was graceful and graceful. Song Xan Gan Bbu, who came to his parents, was strong and strong. The people of Han and Tibetan Nationalities either offered hada or sang and danced.

"This is my favorite piece of work, and it is also the biggest part of my creative effort."

Qiao Yingju introduced the "Tang and the ancient road" has been completed, the work is 7 meters long and 90 centimeters tall, of which the story of "Song Xan Gan Bbu" has been reduced to 1.7 meters and has been collected by the National Museum of China.

"It was only about 200 characters of silk that had been superimposed on 4 layers, and it took me 3 years to plot and draw the story."

Qiao Yingju pointed to the Tibetan girl in the scroll telling reporters.

Huangzhong embroidery art is one of the "three arts" of Kumbum Monastery, and is famous for its murals and butter flowers.

Embroidery was first developed by embroidery art. It is an artistic product of the fusion of Chinese and Tibetan culture. Its content and form have unique local characteristics of Qinghai, and its exquisite workmanship is one of the main forms of Tibetan arts and crafts.

In 2008, Huangzhong embroidery was listed as the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.

Qiao Yingju, who has been making embroidery for 30 years, likes painting and dabbling in folk art such as fine brushwork, embroidery, paper cutting and so on.

When she first saw Thangka embroidery in Kumbum Monastery, she fell in love with this unique art.

"At that time, looking at the colorful and contrasting Thangka embroidery, I liked it. The statues and characters stacked up with layers of cloth are very three-dimensional, like living."

Qiao Yingju said that later she gradually learned about the ornamental value and collection value of embroidery.

Because Huangzhong embroidery is an art that uses the techniques of "cutting" and "heap" to create images, mostly used for making Thangka, while people who are interested in Thangka embroidery are religious believers.

In order to make the embroidery skills known by more and more people, Qiao Ying Ju tried to do something other than Buddhist and Buddhist stories in 1991. The stories of ladies and gentlemen, eighteen arhat and Grand View Garden are different and vivid.

"I have traveled to Holland, Germany, Belgium and other countries with these works. Foreign friends are particularly interested in Qinghai's folk crafts and ethnic customs, and many people will send orders."

Qiao Yingju said that although the embroider pattern is exquisite and elegant, the production process is time-consuming and labor intensive. Moreover, the superposition of each piece of silk and satin is finished by hand. There is no machine to replace it. There are not many people who want to learn to make embroidery now.

In order to make more people like and inherit the traditional skills of Huangzhong embroidery, in 2014, Qiao Yingju founded her own studio. Every year, she worked with local women's Federation and disabled persons' Federation to train women and disabled persons free of charge. In recent years, she has enrolled nearly 1000 students, but few of them have insisted.

Zhu Hongxiu, 41 years old, studied embroidery with Qiao Yingju for more than 10 years. Now she has made a lot of achievements. "The ancient road of Tang and fan" is her cooperation with Qiao Yingju.

"I like embroidery very much. This is a craft and art. Although we only have a few pieces of embroidery now, it still makes sense."

Zhu Hongxiu said.

"As long as someone is willing to learn, I will teach by hand, and inherit the essence of national culture is my responsibility and my wish."

Qiao Yingju said.
