7 Standards Including Testing And Evaluation Of Thermal Insulation Properties Of Textiles Passed The Examination

From August 21 to 22, the Basic Standards Branch of the National Technical Committee for Textile Standardization (TC209/SC1) held a meeting in Qinhuangdao to examine and approve standards such as Testing and Evaluation of Thermal Insulation Properties of Textiles. Nearly 120 representatives from scientific research institutes, customs, quality inspection system, inspection institutions, production enterprises and standard drafting units attended the meeting.

The meeting was presided over by Ma Yongmei, General Manager of China Textile Standard Inspection and Certification Co., Ltd. and Deputy Chairman of TC209/SC1. Sun Ximin, Deputy Director of Science and Technology Development Department of China Textile Industry Federation and Chairman of TC209/SC1 "As the theme, it summarizes the importance of basic method standards from five aspects: international interoperability, commonweal, coordination, certification and recognition, and relevance to consumer demand. At the same time, it points out the direction for the future development of basic method standards for textiles from three aspects: fitting consumer experience, docking industrial development needs, and promoting the application of new testing technologies. TC209/SC1 Secretary General Xu Lu explained the overall situation of the seven standards submitted for review this time, and put forward specific requirements and guiding suggestions on the review points and principles of standards adoption. In accordance with the approval procedure, the experts attending the meeting listened to the description of the standard drafting group on the preparation of the standard and the collection of comments, discussed each standard carefully and proposed amendments. Seven national and industrial standards, including Testing and Evaluation of Thermal Insulation Properties of Textiles, were approved and recommended as recommended standards for approval.
