Japanese Enterprises

In order to avoid the impact of the US tariff war on China, Japanese enterprises accelerated the transfer of production strongholds from China to other countries. Due to the intensification of the Sino US trade war, the appreciation of the Japanese yen and the depreciation of the US dollar directly impact the export of Japanese enterprises, while the Sino US trade war caused the global economic slowdown and also increased the risk of the deterioration of the Japanese economic prospects.

Arthur, a sporting goods company (ASICS), moved its export commodity producing strongholds to Vietnam and Indonesia in the autumn of 2018. The casual clothing brand "Uniqlo" exports most of the goods in the United States manufactured in China. It is now studying the adjustment of the production system, while the RICOH of the printing machine has moved the US production base to Thailand in July (2019). Nintendo is also expected to move part of the main commodity production to Vietnam in December this year.

According to the results of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) published in July, the world's overall real economic growth rate in 2019 was estimated at 3.2%, 0.1 percentage points lower than the April estimate and Japan's 0.9% and 0.1 percentage points respectively.
