Brazil Cotton Industry And China Association Sign An Agreement To Promote Cotton Sales To China

Brazilian cotton producers association (abrapa) and China Cotton Association (CCA) signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday, which also promoted Brazil's cotton exports to China and enhanced ties with China, the number one buyer.

This year, 35% of Brazil's cotton exports will go to China. Caesar busato, President of abrapa, said the agreement would be of great help to the industry and help strengthen information exchange with China. They will inform us of the restrictions in the Chinese market and possible problems with Brazilian cotton so that we can improve them. It also helps to understand China's needs.

At present, Brazil is the second largest supplier of cotton to China, after the United States.
