Jiangxi Gongqing City Donated More Than 4000 Pieces Of Down Jackets To Help Jishishan Overcome The Crisis

On December 21, several volunteers were busy sorting, packing and loading clothes donated by enterprises at the gate of the warehouse of Jiangxi Gongqing City Clothing Town. These clothes were more than 4000 down jackets and cotton padded clothes, worth more than 1.2 million yuan, and were delivered to Jishishan County, Gansu Province in a casual car that night.

It is understood that, in view of the low temperature in the disaster area and the large demand for winter supplies, the Communist Youth City has actively played its advantages in the down garment industry and called on entrepreneurs to donate cold proof and warm clothing to the disaster area.

Chen Jie, president of the Communist Youth Urban Garments Association, said that at present, more than 60 enterprises have participated in the donation. In less than a day, materials have been piled up. The special bus is on the way to the disaster area, so that the people in the disaster area can wear warm down jackets as soon as possible.
