On the 28th, Youxi County, Sanming City held a conference on "Shanghai Ming Cooperation", "Mountain Sea Cooperation" and high-quality development of textile industry. Six investment promotion projects were signed on site, with a total investment of 1.52 billion yuan; 16 enterprises engaged in on-site supply and demand docking, with a contracted amount of 242 million yuan. The reporter learned at the meeting that in recent years, Youxi County has continuously promoted the high-quality development of the textile industry. At present, there are 99 textile enterprises in the county, with an annual output value of nearly 30 billion yuan.

It is understood that China's textile industry has formed the world's largest and most complete industrial system, with fiber processing accounting for more than 50% of the world's total, and textile and clothing exports accounting for more than 1/3 of the world's total. Youxi County is a "famous city of Chinese leather fabric", "famous city of Chinese blended yarn", "provincial textile foreign trade transformation and upgrading base". In 2023, Youxi County will have an annual output of 170 million meters of printed and dyed leather base cloth, 195000 tons of knitted fabric, a spinning production capacity of 1.5 million spindles, and a nylon filament production capacity of 135000 tons.
