Ministry Of Commerce: Jordan'S Garment Industry Export Ranks First In All Industries In 2024
In 2024, Jordan's garment industry will rank first in all industries According to the foreign trade data released by the Jordanian Bureau of Statistics, the export volume of Jordan's six major industrial industries, namely clothing, fertilizer, jewelry, pharmaceutical, raw phosphate and raw potash, totaled about 8.579 billion, accounting for 57% of the country's total industrial exports. Among them, the clothing industry ranked first, with the export volume of about 1.753 billion, up 23% year on year, accounting for 19.4% of the total export volume, the highest since 2010.
