"12Th Five-Year" Dalian Textile And Garment Industry Looks Forward To Transformation
From traditional textile type to urban type, from labor intensive to capital and technology intensive, from simple to simple Production and processing type Shift to R & D business from OEM and ODM to OBM
From 2005 to 2009, the total industrial output value of Dalian's textile and garment industry increased from 10 billion 180 million yuan to 29 billion 830 million yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 30.8%, which is higher than the average annual growth of 18.1% of the total textile industry output in the same period. The proportion of textile and garment industry to the total industrial output value of our city increased from 3.7% in 2004 to 4.6% in 2008. The main business income and export delivery value increased from 9 billion 10 million yuan and 6 billion 280 million yuan in 2005 to 27 billion 840 million yuan and 13 billion 990 million yuan in 2009, respectively, with an average annual growth rate of 32.6% and 22.2% respectively. Focusing on the next 5 years, Dalian's textile and garment industry will strive to achieve transformation and development in 4 aspects.
From traditional textile to urban textile and garment industry
Dalian has abundant resources such as information flow, talent flow, modern logistics, capital flow and so on, which is conducive to developing textile and garment processing and manufacturing industry relying on technology research and development and product design. The construction of the urban textile and garment industrial park as a carrier and relying on the good infrastructure and business environment of the city can not only attract the entry of large textile and garment groups and multinational companies, but also make use of the hatching function of hi-tech products and enterprises to realize the industrialization of textile high new technology, and provide continuous development power for high and new technology. The successful development of the urban textile and garment industry in Beijing and Shanghai has fully demonstrated that the textile and garment industry can not only survive and develop in the central area, but also become a modern industry with employment, taxation, environmental protection and image in harmony with the urban functions and ecological environment.
From labor-intensive to capital and technology intensive development
The current textile and garment industry is no longer a simple, traditional labor-intensive industry, but a capital intensive and technology intensive industry that contains many new and high technologies. The textile and garment industry in Dalian is becoming more and more difficult to compete with the eastern region with the advantages of the whole industrial chain because of the two ends, which are mainly labor-intensive industries. Dalian's urban textile and garment industry must go out of the way of innovation and development in the future. Labor-intensive industries and high technology are not mutually exclusive. The traditional labor-intensive industries can also adopt modern technology in key processes. Some technology intensive industries will also have manual operations which can not be replaced by machines in some production sectors. By raising labor productivity, developing innovative products and improving product quality, the value of products can be improved. Through the development and manufacture of capital intensive high-performance fiber and technology intensive functional industrial textiles, our city can not only achieve breakthroughs in the value chain from source to terminal in the short term, seize the commanding heights of China's textile industry, but also promote the transformation of traditional textile industry to the characteristic industries and high value-added industries, and thus become the bridgehead to promote the revitalization and development of the textile and garment industry in Northeast China.
From simple production and processing type to R & D creative direction
With the rapid development of China's economy, the textile and garment industry in Dalian has been expanding and accumulating a certain competitive advantage. However, some structural problems of its own industry have not been fundamentally solved. For example, the industrial orientation is not clear and the industrial chain is not sound enough. Most enterprises are small in scale, the quantity of processing is large, their private brands are few, and the gold content is not high. The shortage of high-level talent resources and the cultural atmosphere of fashion creativity have not yet formed. These are the key factors that restrict the sustainable development of Dalian's textile and garment industry.
In the next 5 years, relying on scientific and technological innovation, changing the way of development and realizing the adjustment of industrial structure are the only way to realize the soaring of Dalian's textile and garment industry. In the upper reaches of the industry chain, the development and manufacture of high-tech fibers that break through the source; the value of creativity and fashion culture reflected in the terminal of the industrial chain; the development of characteristic industries in the middle of the industrial chain, so as to realize the transformation from traditional processing mode to modern textile and garment industry, and realize the transition from simple modeling industry to high-end industries with high design content and fashion creativity, so as to enhance the overall labor productivity and increase the added value of the Dalian textile and garment industry chain.
