Analysis Of China'S Textile Industry Fixed Assets Investment Projects In The First Seven Months

In 2011, China's textile industry continued to pick up, and the fixed assets investment in textile industry maintained a relatively fast growth.

In the 1-7 month of 2011, China's textile industry fixed assets investment projects totaling more than 5 million yuan actually totaled 356 billion 295 million yuan, up 36.36% from the same period last year, and the growth rate increased by 10.33 percentage points over the same period last year.

The growth rate of textile industry investment was 5.76 percentage points higher than that of the 31.8% manufacturing industry in the same period. The proportion of textile industry investment in manufacturing industry was 6.82%, an increase of 6.93 percentage points over the same period in 2010.


From the perspective of investment projects, the number of construction projects in textile industry in 1-7 months was 13865, an increase of 2.8% over the same period last year; the number of new construction projects was 8764, an increase of -3.12% compared with the same period last year; the number of completed projects was 5474, an increase of 22.6% over the same period last year.

The largest construction industry is textile industry, accounting for 55.71%, and the rest are: textile, clothing, shoes and hat manufacturing industry accounts for 37.41% of the total construction industry, chemical fiber manufacturing industry accounts for 4.69% of the total construction industry, and textile special equipment manufacturing industry accounts for 2.19% of the total construction industry.

Investment projects are divided into major sub sectors:


In the 1-7 months, the number of construction projects in textile industry was 7724, an increase of -0.95% compared with the same period last year; the number of newly started projects in the textile industry was 4875, up by -6.68% compared with the same period last year; the number of completed projects was 2981, an increase of 14.65% over the same period last year.

The number of construction projects in textile, clothing, footwear and hat industry was 5187, an increase of 7.39% over the same period last year. The number of new construction projects was 3343, an increase of 1.92% over the same period last year, and the number of completed projects was 2207, an increase of 35.82% over the same period last year.


The number of construction projects in chemical fiber manufacturing industry was 651, an increase of 8.5% over the same period last year, and the number of new construction projects was 379, an increase of -0.79% compared with the same period last year. The number of completed projects was 209, an increase of 14.21% over the same period last year.

The number of construction projects for textile equipment manufacturing industry was 303, an increase of 16.99% over the same period last year. The number of new construction projects was 167, an increase of 4.38% over the same period last year, and the number of completed projects was 77, an increase of 35.09% over the same period last year.
